I was approved for the Echo Frames last year but declined after reading the instructions for prescription lens fitting.
I did get the Echo Ring and promptly returned because it did not perform as I was led to believe.
Early adoption of new tech is not always a joy.
Hi, Janice –
Just now seeing your comment. Congrats on getting the invitation but if they become more hassle than they are worth, I agree with taking a pass on them. I don’t know that I would ever use them other than has a novelty and that’s a steep price for the fun of it. The Frames seem a bit intrusive.
You mentioned Echo Ring – is that the ring that you wear? I think it is sometimes called the Loop.
I purchased the auto Alexa and could never get it to connect to the car’s wi-fi. Just gave up trying. Maybe another day when I feel more patient.
You are right about early adoption. It isn’t always easy and is usually more than when they have worked out bugs and are mass producing the product.
Thanks for your comments!
